Position: Learning and Development Manager
Location: Bangkok-Thailand
Application Deadline: Rolling until Filled
Ideal Start Date: June 1st, 2018
Contract Term: 2 Years with options for extensions
Report to: Chief Financial Officer
CORE COMPETENCIES:

- Administrative supervision of all staff
- Learning/group facilitation competency
- Ability to collaborate in creating a shared vision & work autonomously to drive it forward
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Learning and Development Manger will direct and manage all function related to staff training, staff development, and evaluation. The manager will effectively solve problems through individual initiative; accurately communicate with the JUMP! Foundation’s multi-cultural and international client base; and contribute to the total efforts of a small, dedicated team. The Learning and Development Manager will have competence and flexibility in a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Full-Time Staff
- Develop and implement learning and development framework
- Track staff growth plan and continually innovate learning and development for staff
- Develop staff evaluation/quarterly professional development platform and framework
- Overall staff coaching and support
- Evaluation of staff learning achievement and growth plans
- Ability to do dissemination of knowledge
Contract Staff
- Create facilitation training and coaching framework and material for facilitator network
- Setup regional training workshops
- Conduct annual facilitator gathering
- Responsible for in-field evaluation and survey for staff feedback
Additional support
- Support in programmatic staffing to align program needs with relevant staff
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Proven experience as an L&D Manager, Training Manager or similar
- Partner with leadership to identify key opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance to achieve goals.
- Assesses the training needs, learning objectives, performance outcomes for all staff
- Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
- Familiarity with various learning platforms and practices
- Experience in project management and budgeting
- Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen
- Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Masters degree or equivalent experience

- Strong interpersonal and networking skills
- Prior experience living and working abroad, in multi-cultural contexts
- Flexible and able to travel extensively within the assigned country and within the region
