Global Integrity’s vision is of a world in which people and organizations in countries and communities around the globe work together to solve social problems by addressing their governance-related dimensions. We do this by supporting the locally-led innovation, learning and adaptation that is needed to address the root causes of governance-related challenges that are complex, systemic and fundamentally about power.
This entails two strands of work. First, providing data, learning and strategy support to civil society and government partners around the world on issues including corruption, the governance and use of public resources, and the international initiatives that are targeted at improving governance and tackling corruption. Second, using the evidence and insights from this work, and from similar work conducted by other organizations, in our advocacy and engagement with global actors in Washington DC and beyond.
We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations and Finance to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Executive Director and other senior leadership to support the effective implementation of our strategy and programs. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an individual to help to shape a development agenda that addresses the root causes of social problems, in ways that are tailored to countries’ and communities’ needs. The role will be based at the Open Gov Hub in Washington, DC and report to the Executive Director.
The ideal candidate will be a strong collaborator, with extensive experience in managing operations and finance at a senior level, including in the US not for profit sector. She or he will have well-honed grant management skills and an advanced degree in a relevant field, such as an MBA or MPA, and the right to work in the United States. We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
