On 5 June 2018 R2HC’s Call for Proposals will open
Through the Call £3.5million will be available for collaborative research aiming to improve public health outcomes in humanitarian crises. Shortlisted applicants are also eligible for £10k seed funding to support proposal development and strengthen research partnerships.
Elrha’s R2HC programme is the product of a strategic partnership between the UK Government (DFID), the Wellcome Trust, and the UK National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). Since 2014, R2HC has funded over 40 grants, awarding almost £14 million to organisations working in humanitarian health. The research funded covers a diverse range of topics, from mental health and other non-communicable diseases (NCDs), to WASH and maternal and child health.
