InterAction invites you to contribute your expertise by submitting a session proposal for Forum 2018 taking place June 12-14, 2018 in Washington DC. We are seeking proposals with diverse ideas and perspectives showcasing best practices for our community. Lead the conversation around Innovation, Impact and Inquiry and help shape the Forum 2018 education program.
Please read ALL of the below information before you submit your proposal.
Proposals must be submitted via our online system. You will be required to create an account with the system in order to submit your proposal. Once you’ve submitted your proposal, you will have the option to send yourself a confirmation email message from the “Submission Successfully Saved” screen. This is the only confirmation message you will receive, as the system does not automatically send one. The deadline for proposal submissions is December 14, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Proposals will be reviewed by members of the Forum Planning Committee, which is comprised of InterAction members and staff with expertise in a range of topic areas. Each proposal will be evaluated according to the general criteria listed below.
- Overall quality of proposal content
- Well defined learning outcomes
- Relevancy of content to Forum audience
- Diversity among organizations and geographic area
We will notify speakers about the status of their proposals by January 24, 2018. The session organizer will receive all notification emails and will be responsible for disseminating the information to his/her co-speakers.
Breakout sessions are intended to educate the Forum audience; not to promote a specific product or service. Exhibit and sponsorship opportunities are available for promotional purposes. If you are a supplier of products or services, please be sure your content is based on a relevant topic, case study, concept or idea, and not on your products or services.
Applicants with similar proposals/topics may be asked to combine sessions. The planning committee reserves the right to change or edit the title and description for clarity and marketing purposes.
To provide diverse sessions and keep content fresh, the planning committee will select a maximum of two proposals from any session organizer or organization. You may propose more than two, but a maximum of two will be selected. Please be sure to coordinate proposals within your organization.
