The Caux Scholars Program (CSP) is a multi-discipline network of leaders, influencers, activists, expert scholars, and practitioners who share their critical knowledge and experiences in addressing conflicts of many kinds in over 60 countries. This 30-day residential program is part of the Caux Forum in Switzerland every summer.
Each year, IofC USA selects 20 outstanding community leaders from all sectors and diverse backgrounds across the world. We are looking for committed students and young professionals to be part of an intensive four week program; participants who are willing to be challenged today in order to build peace tomorrow.
The program teaches Scholars to identify and analyze conflicts, to understand the factors that create and sustain conflicts, and to use practical methods to diffuse conflicts through global disciplines in conflict prevention, negotiation, development studies, international relations, legislation and policy, and transitional justice. Since the program’s inception in 1991, the Caux Scholars Program has demonstrated conflict transformation in action where participants work together toward personal honesty, accountability, sustained dialogue, reflection, reconciliation, restorative and transitional justice, trauma healing and people-centered decision making processes.
