Ideas for Action provides students and young professionals from around the world with a unique opportunity to help shape the international development agenda and to take an active role in changing the world
Want to pitch your sustainable development idea to Wharton and the World Bank? We are looking for YOUR local solutions to global 21st century problems. If you have a passion for international development or social entrepreneurship, submit your idea to the 2018 Ideas for Action Competition. A joint initiative between the World Bank Group and the Zicklin Center for Business Ethics Research at Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, the Ideas for Action Competition empowers young leaders worldwide to share their ideas for financing and implementing the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Winners will receive support from a startup accelerator, present their ideas at a special event during the Annual Meetings of the IMF and the World Bank Group, and benefit from invaluable knowledge sharing and networking opportunities.
