Indigenous Perspectives on Salvation, Repentance, Peace, and Justice

June 10 @ 8:30 am - June 14 @ 5:00 pm

$580

Join us for “Indigenous Perspectives on Salvation, Repentance, Peace, and Justice” at the 2019 Canadian School of Peacebuilding with instructor Ray Aldred. Courses are available for professional development, personal inspiration or academic credit. This course will examine theologies that have emerged from within the Indigenous community and which are rooted in Indigenous worldview, social engagement, and historical experience with Christian faith and will provide opportunity to reinterpret repentance as turning to Christ by embracing a God-given Indigenous identity. It also provides space for non-Indigenous North Americans to embrace reconciliation grounded in peace and justice. Find out more at csop.cmu.ca and apply before April 1, 2019.
