PCDN’s 2019 Career Series is focused The Future of Work in Social Change. We will continue our exploration of the key trends and concrete tips to help you advance a career of impact.
Our first webinar this year will be on COWORKING for Social Impact
Increasingly individuals and organizations are changing the notion of the workspace and moving away from the traditional office or cubicle. Around the world, there are now thousands of coworking spaces that serve as hubs for individuals and companies to grow their businesses, gain skills, foster innovative silo-busting collaboration and much more. We will explore if coworking is just a fad or something that will radically shape the workspaces and workers of the future.
Join us as we speak with Federico Restrepo, a leading innovator and founder of Impact Hub Medellin(where PCDN will be based as of April 2019 ) as he discusses the incredible growth of coworking and what this means for you.
In this interactive session (there will be plenty of time for your questions) Federico will cover the following:
- What in the world is coworking?
- What is coworking for social impact?
- Why or why coworking may or may not be right for you or your organization?
- How coworking spaces are creating new innovation hubs and breaking down barriers and silos?
- The unique nature of the Impact Hub Global Network
- Why he decided to launch Impact Hub in Medellin
