The Colombia Symposium on Coordinated Stabilization and Peacebuilding, June 29 – July 20, 2019 provides a unique opportunity to build practical skills and meet the world’s top practitioners and experts on coordinated stabilization and peacebuilding. The Symposium provides 16 days of advanced training on coordinating security, governance, rule of law, economics and social well-being in stabilization environments. Participants will identify best practices currently emerging in Colombia and compare them to current practice in South Sudan, Syria, and others. Guided by national and international leaders, participants will engage in a mix of lectures, discussion groups, site visits, and experiential exercises to apply knowledge and skills to simulated real-life scenarios [Read about a Typical Day in Bogota].
